Curtis Lumber in Ballston Spa hosts its 16th annual car and truck show on Sunday, September 13, 2026. All makes of cars, trucks, customs, and tuners are welcome, with no cut-off year for eligible vehicles. The event is free for spectators and includes food trucks, music, and activities for the whole family, including pets.
Show & Registration Details
- Where: Curtis Lumber, 885 NY-67, Ballston Spa, NY
- Show hours: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Registration hours: 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. (per event organizers; the flyer also lists an $20 registration fee window of 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. — confirm exact opening time with Curtis Lumber)
- Registration cost: $20 per show vehicle
- Registration closes promptly at 11 a.m. or when the show field is full, whichever comes first
- Placement is first-come, first-served; vehicles may not enter the show field after registration closes, even if space becomes available
- Clubs and groups must arrive together to park together
- All registered vehicles receive a free goodie bag, a gift from Curtis Lumber, and a wooden dash plaque
Awards & Trophies
Judging begins at 11 a.m. and vehicles are judged informally by generation and class. Forty-five awards and trophies are available, including handcrafted wooden awards made by the Northeastern Woodworkers Association from domestic and exotic hardwoods, with no two alike.

Rules & Weather Policy
No alcoholic beverages are permitted on Curtis Lumber's property. Pop-up tents must be secured with stakes or weighted down. All pets must be leashed, and retractable leashes are not permitted. In case of severe weather, attendees should check the Curtis Lumber Car Show website at 8 a.m. on the day of the event for cancellation updates.
