2026 Punkintown Fair

The Annual Punkintown Fair is returning to New Salem Volunteer Fire Department in Voorheesville from Thursday, July 23 through Saturday, July 25, 2026. The fair will run from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. each night at 694 New Salem Road.

This long-running community event has been hosted by the New Salem Volunteer Fire Department since 1942. Visitors can look forward to rides, games, fresh fair food, ice cold beverages, and plenty of family-friendly fun.

Adults can enjoy beer and wine slushes, while kids and families explore the rides and midway-style activities. Saturday night will also feature fireworks sponsored by Jimco Painting.

Admission and parking are free. The fair will also include a cash raffle with prizes of $2,000, $1,000, and $500, plus additional prizes, with winners drawn near the close of the fair on Saturday.

Proceeds from the fair and raffle help support updates to fire and rescue equipment for the district. The event is hosted by the New Salem Volunteer Fire Department and Ladies Auxiliary with support from sponsors and mutual-aid partner departments.
