About this event
The Great Train Extravaganza is eastern New York’s largest model railroad and toy train hobby show. It’s held every year at the Empire State Convention Center in Albany, New York on the first Sunday in December.
Our dozens of vendors offer new and used trains for sale, plus parts, clothing, memorabilia, photographs, and accessories. We also feature numerous exhibitors showing off all kinds of pieces of railroad history and artifacts, and several operating model railroads in N, HO, and O gauges, LEGO, and larger.
Bring the whole family and enjoy a day at the Plaza.
The Great Train Extravaganza is presented by the Hudson-Berkshire Division of the National Model Railroad Association.
