Poor showing in the customer service department recently for Wheatfields. I called to order a family meal, planning to use gift certificates to pay at pick up. I was home alone with two little ones, and my older daughter was already out, so I called Wheatfields back to ask if it would be ok if I sent her pictures of the gift certificates. The hostess asked what the certificates looked like and I described, and she then told me it would be fine to show a picture. Sadly, when my daughter arrived she was told by a manager that she could not use the picture. To say one thing on the phone and then another when the customer arrives is very bad business. Even if they were correct and I was a big scammer who goes around trying to use gift cards twice (I’m not!😆), at that point the only option for a good business it to take a possible $50 loss and honor what the customer was told by your representative. Hopefully, this behavior will be addressed.
