About this event

She is passionate about sharing science with the public and writes about her experiences as a transgender woman in paleontology. We will be joined by the author virtually for this event! Please register online. In The Last Day of the Dinosaurs, Riley Black walks readers through what happened in the days, the years, the centuries, and the million years after the impact, drawing from the latest science to track the sweeping disruptions that overtook Hell Greek and the rest of the planet. Even during a time of horrible destruction and loss, life will find a way. This title is also available as an eAudiobook on Hoopla. This program is inspired by our 2026 Summer Reading Program "Unearth a Story" Read with Pride is an ongoing reading group that meets the first Thursday of each month and reads fiction and nonfiction from the LGBTQ+ community. Co-sponsored by Saratoga Pride
