About this event

This practice is designed to help participants become more mindful of their thoughts. By speaking empowering, positive affirmations during the workout, you can learn to change your self-talk. Whether you feel like working at a low impact level or your highest energy level, this practice is for you. Register through our online calendar or by calling the information desk, 518-584-7860 option 4 or 5.

Wear supportive sneakers and clothing that allows you to move comfortably. Bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated.

What to Expect
Participation is optional.
You are welcome to listen quietly without participating.
You may arrive late or leave early if needed.
There is no expectation of prior knowledge about the topic.

Sensory Information
The program takes place in a shared indoor event space.
This program involves loud music and shouting positive affirmations while dancing to music.
Seating can be provided.
Lighting is standard indoor lighting.

Sensory Supports
Listening without speaking or asking questions is always welcome.
You may step out, take breaks, or move as needed.
Wearing earplugs is encouraged.
Fidget tools, notebooks, or quiet sensory items are welcome.
Printed materials, or visual aids will be available when possible.
Additional accessibility support may be available—please ask library staff.
