Six Capital Region brewers (Northway Brewing, Bolton Landing Brewing Company, Adirondack Brewery, Druthers Brewing Co., Artisanal Brew Works, and Common Roots Brewing Company) have joined together to form Brewnited. The group's goal is to help tipped hospitality employees who are out of work due to COVID-19 by providing them direct payments.
As part of this initiative, Brewnited has produced a new lager called "Negative Input," and all profits from the sale of this beer will be distributed to those out of work employees. You can also make a direct donation to the cause on their website.
Boys & Girls Clubs of the Capital Area
The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Capital Area is using their limited financial reserves to provide 1,700 breakfasts and lunches to 11 key housing sites in the region. Proper funding could allow them to produce 3,000 meals per day and serve even more members of the community. Donate to the organization and help them get meals to families in need.

Founded by the Community Foundation for the Greater Capital Region and the United Way of the Greater Capital Region, the Capital Region Community COVID-19 Relief Fund rapidly deploys resources to community-based organizations at the frontlines of the COVID-19 outbreak in our area.
CAPTAIN Community Human Services (CAPTAIN CHS)
CAPTAIN CHS in Clifton Park offers a number of important services, including a Runaway & Homeless Youth Shelter, assistance to homebound seniors, an Emergency Food & Hygiene Pantry, and more. Monetary donations can help them to provide these services during the COVID-19 pandemic, and food and hygiene donations are always appreciated.
The Creative Impact: Capital Region Artist Fund
With spring shows, concerts, and performances cancelled, many artists are struggling to face the financial challenges caused by COVID-19. The Creative Impact: Capital Region Artist Fund was established to alleviate some of this stress by offering gift card payments to artists in Albany, Rensselaer, Saratoga, and Schenectady counties.

As a result of this public health crisis, the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region remains focused on providing support to families currently staying at their House. They have also temporarily repurposed their in-hospital program spaces into rest rooms for healthcare professionals at the frontlines of the pandemic.
