The Clifton Park area has a variety of resources available throughout the community to help those who are struggling or in need. Find more information about the places that offer these resources below.

Alzheimer's Association of Northeastern NY: For confidential support and information to people living with the disease, caregivers, families, and the public, contact the Alzheimer's Association's 24-hour help hotline: 1-800-272-3900.

The Food Pantries for the Capital District: For info on the nearest food pantry near you, contact The Food Pantries for the Capital District at their referral line: 518-458-1167 x108.

Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York: You can use the Regional Food Bank's "Find Nearest Agency" feature to search for the nearest food pantry as well.

United Way: Contact the United Way for community, social, and government services. You can dial 2-1-1 to find services near you.

CAPTAIN Community Human Services (Clifton Park & Glenville NY): Provides a Summer Meal Program, Housing, a Winter Coat Drive, a Food Pantry, a Youth Shelter, and more services to those in need.

Jonesville United Methodist Church (Clifton Park NY): Provides a Food Pantry to residents of the Shenendehowa and Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake School Districts. The Pantry offers food, toiletries, and cleaning products.

Harvest Church (Clifton Park NY): Offers a Food Pantry and a Distribution Center to those in need.  

Safe Inc. of Schenectady (Schenectady NY): Provides a temporary co-ed emergency Youth Shelter for homeless and runaway youth ages 16-20. The shelter also provides food and clothing to its residents.

Bethesda House (Schenectady NY): Provides a Food Pantry, Permanent Housing, Transitional Housing for Veterans, an Overnight Shelter, and other housing programs to those in need. They also offer a Food Pantry located in Northside Village.

City Mission of Schenectady (Schenectady NY): Offers shelter, Transitional Housing, a Weekend Backpack Program, Community Meals, Clothing Programs, and more to those in need.  

Unity House (Troy NY): Offers Emergency Assistance, a Food Pantry, Community Meals, Housing, a Thrift Store, and more to those in need.

Joseph’s House & Shelter (Troy NY): Offers Supported Housing, Emergency Shelters, a Medical Clinic for Homeless, and more to those in need.
