About this event

What to Expect  

  • The participants will decorate a canvas zippered bag with their choice of iron-on patches.  

  • An iron will be used to adhere the patches to the bag with heat. 

  • Ironing assistance will be provided by a librarian upon request.  

  • Seating is at high-top tables with tall chairs; lower seating is available upon request. 

Sensory Information  

  • The Teen Room may be significantly busy and noisy.   

  • Bright overhead lights.  

  • Smells from iron will be noticeable.   

  • Some smells from food/drinks in the Teen Room may be noticeable. 

Supports  

  • Participants are welcome to take breaks or step out of the room as needed.
