About this event

What started as an idea turned into a local student's senior project. Join us for a short presentation to learn more about what one teen is doing to help raise awareness for the large amount of plastic the average person generates, to reduce plastic waste and demonstrate how small actions can lead to big change. Please register online

An EcoBrick is a plastic bottle that is densely compacted with small, dry, non-recyclable plastics that can create a building block. By simply accumulating these plastics in a bottle, you are able to limit your contribution to plastic pollution and limit the spread of microplastics that end up in landfills, waterways and nature. EcoBricks can turn into something greater within the community!
