During this spring excursion, participants of all ages will become wildlife detectives as they explore the dandelions in bloom at Fort Hardy Park.
Led by certified foragers from Saratoga Wild roots participants will use small spades, trimmers, and harvesting vessels to collect these bright yellow “weeds” and learn about the many uses of dandelions – from festive crowns to nutritious bitter greens.

Group size is limited to 15 participants

All ages are welcome, but this session is best suited for ages 10 and up

Children must be accompanied by an adult

$5/person due on day of the event

Attendees will meet at the Old Visitor Center Parking Lot (beside the white and blue building across from the Champlain Canal Visitor Center, 33 Ferry Street, Schuylerville, NY 12871

Please bring personal water bottles. A restroom is available onsite by the Schuylerville Village Beach, 3 Ferry Street, Schuylerville

We will be walking on grassy and gravel surfaces. Please wear appropriate footwear and clothing
