About this event

... about our local history, stop in between 1pm and 5pm and visit with representatives from organizations in the Greater Capital District area who are engaged in preserving, researching, and teaching history. Visit more than a dozen local museums, historic sites, historical societies, and archives who will be on hand to answer questions and engage with the public, and attend the following programs in the library's Susman Room: 1:30 - From Attic to Archive: Preserving Your Family’s Past 3:00 - Columbia's Daughters: The Political Equality Clubs of Warren, Washington and Saratoga Counties, 1890-1917 No registration required.

What to Expect

· The event is open to the public and hosted by library staff and community partners.

· You can walk around, explore booths or tables, and gather information at your own pace.

· Participation is optional—you can observe, ask questions, or engage with activities.

· There is no expectation to commit, sign up, or complete tasks.

· You may arrive late or leave early.

· Conversations with staff or community members are friendly but optional. To receive help with an item or request, you may need to speak briefly with library staff or community partners.
