About this event

Experience the Champlain Canal from a whole new perspective!

These monthly guided paddling programs invite participants to explore the canal’s calm waters while taking in its natural beauty, rich history, and unique ecology. Each outing offers a relaxed, supportive environment where participants can paddle at their own pace with guidance from experienced staff.

Designed to be welcoming for all abilities, this program includes kayaks for all participants.

We also offer a limited number of adaptive kayaks, including both single and tandem options (reservable upon registration). These kayaks are designed to provide additional support and stability, with features such as:
• Supportive, adjustable seating
• Outriggers for added stability
• Paddle pedestal for one-handed paddling and reduced arm strain
• Lightweight paddles

The launch area includes an accessible kayak launch, made to ensure safe, stable entry into the water. For more accessibility information, please go to our website.

Free thanks to the generous support of the NYS Canal Corporation’s On the Canals program.

Registration is required and space is limited. For more info and to register, visit our website.
