A FREE Community Event!
Come join us for a landmark cultural event where art comes to life! Cobleskill Art In Action pulls back the curtain on the creative process, inviting you to witness and interact with over 40 exceptional artists—most creating visual art live on-site. Whether you're a seasoned collector, an aspiring artist, or just looking for a fun day out with the family, this is the perfect spot to get inspired, meet fellow art lovers, and dive into hands-on activities.

- Location: Veterans Memorial Centre Park and Main Street sidewalks in downtown Cobleskill, NY

Schedule of Events & Highlights
- Artist Vendor Market (9:00 AM – 4:00 PM): Browse and purchase original, finished works directly from creators while watching them demonstrate their technical skills and techniques live at their booths.
- Interactive Art Activities & Demonstrations (9:00 AM – 4:00 PM): Family-friendly, hands-on workshops distributed throughout the park—including free pottery painting and whimsical water-gun art experiences!
- The Quick Draw Exposition (10:00 AM – 11:30 AM): A high-energy, timed competition! Watch 15 juried artists race against the clock with exactly 90 minutes to create a complete work of art starting from a blank surface.
- The Live Auction Main Event (12:00 PM – 1:00 PM): The thrilling live public auction! Following an opening auction, the newly created Quick Draw pieces move directly to the auction block.
VIP Experience
Want the best seat in the house? Reserved VIP seating is available for the live auction for $50. This ticket includes an exclusive pre-auction reception at the historic Bull's Head Inn.
