2026 Belmont on Broadway

About this event

The third and final Belmont on Broadway festival serves as the official kickoff celebration for the Belmont Stakes Racing Festival at Saratoga Race Course. This massive, family-friendly celebration fills the streets of downtown Saratoga Springs with live music, entertainment, and local community events before the historic Triple Crown racing begins.

• Date: Wednesday, June 3, 2026
• Time: 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM (VIP events begin at 4:00 PM)
• Location: Broadway (in front of the Saratoga Springs City Center), Downtown Saratoga Springs, NY
• Cost: Free admission for the main outdoor concert; VIP Experience requires a paid ticket.

Schedule

• 11:00 AM: Lucky Puppy Rescue Bus Grand Opening (on Broadway near City Hall)
• 4:00 PM: VIP Pre-Show Comedy Performance by Chelsea Handler (at Universal Preservation Hall)
• 7:00 PM: Opening Act: Vertical Horizon (Outdoor Stage)
• 8:30 PM: Headliner: Fitz and the Tantrums (Outdoor Stage)

Attendee Guidelines & Safety

• Seating: No seating is provided. Guests who require a seat must bring their own folding chair (must not be inside a carrying bag). Sidewalks must be kept clear for pedestrian traffic.
• Prohibited Items: Coolers, backpacks, large bags, strollers, pets, glass bottles, and weapons are strictly banned from the event space.
• Food & Drink: On-site dining is available via the "Burgers around the World" concession alongside regular downtown restaurants. Outside alcohol is prohibited, and carrying alcoholic beverages out of local bars or restaurants is illegal.
• Smoking: The event space is designated as smoke-free for the comfort of all attendees.

VIP Experience Tickets

Paid upgrades include entry to the 4:00 PM Chelsea Handler comedy show at Universal Preservation Hall, complimentary parking at the City Center garage, commemorative merchandise, access to a prime concert-viewing tent, and entry to a private indoor hospitality lounge with light bites and a cash bar.
