Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and experienced Event Bartender to join our team. As a bartender at Brookledge, you’ll be a key part of our guest experience—serving drinks with a smile, keeping the bar area clean and organized, and ensuring everyone has a safe and enjoyable time.

Key Responsibilities
Set up and break down the bar area before and after events

Mix, garnish, and serve drinks according to established recipes and guest preferences

Check guest ID to ensure legal drinking age

Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the bar

Monitor guest alcohol intake and practice responsible service

Communicate with venue coordinators and other staff to ensure smooth event flow

Handle cash and credit card transactions as needed

Follow all state and local alcohol laws and Brookledge policies

Provide exceptional customer service with a friendly and professional demeanor

Requirements
Must be 21 years of age or older

Prior bartending experience at events or busy environments

Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, and wine

Reliable transportation to and from Middle Grove, NY

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods

Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment

TIPS or other alcohol safety certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Schedule & Compensation
Primarily weekends (Friday–Sunday) during the event season (May–October)

$12-$15/hour based on experience, plus tips

All shifts are per-event, with advance scheduling
