About this event

The Alzheimer’s Association, Northeastern New York (NENY) Chapter is inviting local residents to join the fight to end Alzheimer’s by participating in the Troy, Columbia, and Greene Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Sunday, October 19th, at the Joseph L. Bruno Stadium, 80 Vandenburgh Ave, Troy. Check in at 12 p.m., ceremony at 1 p.m. Walk immediately following the ceremony.

On Walk Day, participants honor those affected by Alzheimer's with the poignant Promise Garden ceremony - a mission-focused experience that signifies our solidarity in the fight against the disease. During the ceremony, walkers will carry flowers of various colors, each color representing their personal connection to the disease.

Now is the moment we’ve been waiting for. With new treatments emerging in the fight against Alzheimer’s and all other dementias, now is the time for hope. Now is the time for action.
