In a world that often feels heavy with discouragement, discover how Christ meets us in our everyday challenges to renew our hearts with hope, patience, and peace. Through real-life stories and practical encouragement, this talk invites women to embrace God’s grace in the realities of life.

Topic:  Pray as you can, not as you can't

This often used quote reminds us that each of us has a unique relationship with God, and so how we communicate in that relationship is going to vary from person to person.  Our prayer style also grows and changes as we move through various stages of our lives.  Today we will explore some of the "whens" and "hows" of prayer, as well as have the opportunity to try a few prayer forms which may be new to you.

Topic:  Living with Joy and Purpose: Becoming Signs of Hope to the World

Learn how to live your Catholic faith with intentionality, joy, and trust, even in the midst of daily demands. This talk offers inspiration and simple practices to grow in holiness and become a beacon of Christ’s hope for others.

Danielle Bean
Danielle Bean is creator and host of Girlfriends, an award-winning podcast that supports and encourages Catholic women from all walks of life. She is author of ten books, including You Are Enough, and Giving Thanks and Letting Go, and Whisper: Finding God in the Everyday. Danielle has a special heart for families and she encourages moms and dads to find humor in daily challenges and the joy God intends for every one of us. Sr. Susan Zemgulis, OP
Sr. Susan Zemgulis, OP, is a Dominican Sister of Peace and is currently the Administrator of the Dominican Retreat & Conference  Center.  She has a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Siena College and a Master's in Theology from Barry University.  She has been involved in retreat work for over 25 years.  Prior to retreat work, she was a children's counselor in a domstic violence shelter. Sr. Sue is an experienced retreat director with a love of Scripture and music.

Early Registration: $40. per person until October 6th.

Regular Registration: $45. per person from October 6 to 17.

Day of Registration: $50. per person on-site.

College age and younger women are FREE, but need to register.
