About this event
Kat Koppett, pioneering CEO and Founder of the global consultancy that bears her name, announces the publication of the third edition of her seminal book, Training to Imagine: Improvisational Techniques for Leaders and Educators to Enhance Creativity, Teamwork, and Learning (Routledge).
Koppett will lead a book launch event at Koppett’s home base, the historic Mopco Improv Theatre in Schenectady, New York. The interactive experience is scheduled for January 27th at 6PM. Come enjoy light refreshments and a demo of some of the techniques outlined in the book designed to strengthen teamwork, unlock creativity, and build adaptive, human-centered leadership skills.
First published in 2001, Training to Imagine quickly became known as a foundational work in the field of applied improvisation as it was among the first to focus on using improvisation principles that can be used in leadership development, education, and organizational learning. The newly-released third edition reflects more than two decades of practice, research, and real-world application, offering updated insights, refined techniques, and fresh examples that address today’s complex, fast-changing workplace realities.
