The Albany Pine Bush is famous for its rare ecosystem, but few know how deeply this landscape shaped the Capital Region’s history. Michael will reveal the Pine Bush’s deep past—Indigenous trails, early settlement, and how this sandy expanse influenced the growth of Albany, Schenectady, and beyond. It’s a fresh angle on a place usually covered only for its plants and wildlife.
