About this event

Join us as we explore the lives of a variety of individuals who experienced the Battles of Saratoga.  Learn about what brought them to the Saratoga District (as Saratoga County was then called), their experiences while here, and their fates after the battles.  Based on personal accounts written by those who witnessed the Turning Point of the American Revolution, this program offers a glimpse into the mundane details of daily life and the history-changing actions of farmers, laborers, teamsters, tradesmen, and others who answered the call to serve.  We'll also learn about some of the local residents who saw this military campaign roll through their communities and farms.  Participants will also learn about opportunities to continue exploring history at upcoming events with Saratoga 250 and other local historical organizations.

Event times and information subject to change and not guaranteed.
