Countdown to the Triple Crown

The Countdown to the Triple Crown fundraiser takes place exactly three months before the Kentucky Derby, offering an evening dedicated to the history and excitement of thoroughbred racing. Held on a Saturday evening, this event supports the mission of the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All proceeds contribute to the development of new exhibits and educational programming designed to preserve the heritage of the sport.

Attendees receive admission to the Museum, which includes a screening of the 18-minute signature film, What It Takes: Journey to the Hall of Fame. Each ticket provides two drink vouchers for beer or wine, with a cash bar available for additional purchases, alongside a selection of light fare. The evening features various giveaways and a 50/50 raffle, giving guests multiple opportunities to engage with the festivities.

A major highlight of the fundraiser is the extensive selection of silent auction items available for preview on social media. In addition to the in-person event, an online auction featuring exclusive items and experiences runs from February 6 through February 13. This week-long digital event allows supporters to bid on unique racing memorabilia and curated experiences from any location.
