The 17th Annual CCRC 5K and 1K kids’ run, is sanctioned by USA Track and Field and will be chip timed by Underdog Race Timing. Everyone of any age is welcome to participate in any of the events of the day. Walkers are encouraged to attend. The event will be followed by a BBQ dinner. The BBQ dinner is included in the race entry fee or can be purchased separately. A huge prize drawing will be held for all participants regardless of finish place, along with special awards for the top three men and women and 6 family team divisions!
The CCRC 5K is hosted by CCRC solely to promote wellness and healthy lifestyles in the community through an afternoon of physical fitness, fun, and food. The fees are intended to cover the cost of the event. Net proceeds will go to Camp Under the Woods. Any additional donations are appreciated. If you or your business would like to sponsor our event, please see our sponsorship letter or call the CCRC office at 518 371-7654.
Prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place Overall Males and Females in the run and to the top teams in the 6 family divisions. A huge prize drawing will be held for all participants regardless of finish place, along with special awards for the top three men and women and 6 family team divisions! (Please note: in past years, there have been enough prizes for everyone) All kids’ fun run participants will receive a medal and an ice cream certificate.
All awards and prizes will be presented during the BBQ dinner.
All entrants will receive a free event T-shirt. For those who register by April 26th, 2024 we will do our best to guarantee their T-shirt size.
