About this event
The program will briefly touch on effects of acid rain and invasive species affecting fish habitat, as well as profile some of the lesser known native ADK fish species. The program will wrap up by discussing the ongoing restoration of endangered ADK fish species, how the recovery of certain bird species is affecting fish and fisheries, and how piscivorous birds are affected by environmental contamination. This program is inspired by the SaratogaREADS! 2026 selection, The Soul of an Octopus by Sy Montgomery. This program is co-sponsored by Southern Adirondack Audubon Society and Trout Unlimited Clearwater Chapter.
