Greenville Christian Life Center, located in Greenville, NY,  has committed themselves to raising funds for those families negatively affected by hurricane Irene. In November 2011, they  held a Nickel Social and raised $900 and have already helped one family in Schoharie county with a check for $1800.

An additional $420 l in donations has been collected to help local families.  The life center has also worked with Windham Ashland Jewett School to help  families this Christmas and will also be helping two additional families locally who have been displaced by Irene.
