The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has 4 summer camps in New York State. Two in the Adirondacks (Camp Colby in Saranac Lake, Camp Pack Forest in Warrensburg), one in the Catskills (Camp DeBruce in Livingston Manor) and Camp Rushford in Western New York (Allegany County).

These camps are for 11 - 17 year olds. More information is available online at the DEC Website . These camps focus on learning about the environment, outdoor skills, and have opportunities to receive the Hunter Education certification.
