Catch a Concert or Two This Weekend
Don’t miss the first concert of the 2019 Harbor Jam Concert Series at Rivers Casino & Resort in Schenectady. Progressive rock band Ambrosia will perform live at the Mohawk Harbor Amphitheater at 6:00pm. Admission is free, and concerts are rain or shine.
Freedom Park Summer Concert Series – Saturday, July 6 & Sunday, July 7
The 2019 Freedom Park Summer Concert Series continues this weekend with performances on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday’s concert will feature Watch Reggie Run, and Sunday’s concert will feature Totally Pitchin’ and Electric City Chorus.
The Powers Park Concert Series in Troy is free to attend and takes place on Saturdays from July 6 through August 24. On Saturday, July 6, Moriah Formica will perform live from 6:00pm-8:30pm.
Hair of the Dog will take the stage at Clifton Common as part of the 2019 Performing Arts at the Common Series. The band is renowned for their unique blend of Celtic, rock, folk, and bluegrass music.
Cruise to Local Car Shows
The American Legion in Saratoga Springs is hosting a Car & Truck Show on Saturday from 11:00am-3:00pm. It costs $15 to register a vehicle, and the show is open to all years, makes, and models of cars and trucks. Funds raised will benefit homeless veterans.
Head over to Goldstein Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram for an All MOPAR and Jeep Show on Sunday from 11:00am-3:00pm. Registration is $15, and the first 125 vehicles will receive dash plaques.
Enjoy 4th of July Festivities
Enjoy music, activities, fireworks, and more at Amsterdam’s Independence Day Fest on Saturday from 6:00pm-10:00pm. Celebrate 4th of July with the community at Riverlink Park and on the Mohawk Valley Gateway Overlook Bridge.

Experience the Energy at the Park Playhouse
In the Heights is the first hit Broadway musical by Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda, and this week, it will be performed at the Park Playhouse in Albany’s Washington Park. Lawn seats are free and first come, first served. In the Heights runs from June 28 through July 27, Tuesday through Saturday.
Tour the Coolest Secret Gardens in Saratoga
This Sunday is the 25th anniversary of the Soroptimist Secret Gardens Tour in Saratoga County. Get your tickets and explore some of the most beautiful secret gardens in the region. Tickets are $25 in advance, and all remaining tickets will be available for $30 on the day of the tour.
