It’s Restaurant Week in Schenectady! From now through March 10, participating restaurants in the Schenectady area will be offering special multi-course meals for $25. This is a fantastic opportunity to try a new restaurant and eat delicious local food.
Wine lovers won’t want to miss the 11th Annual Capital Region Wine Festival at Proctors. Your ticket will allow you to sample a wide variety of exceptional red, white, and sparkling wines. There will also be restaurant food bites, vendors, a live auction, and more.
Taste unique and flavorful craft beverages from regional New York State brewers at the 6th Annual New York Craft Brewers Festival in Albany. Hosted at The Desmond Hotel, this festival will feature tastings and a chance to meet the brewers behind the beer.
Attend These Local “Fun-draisers”
Put on your favorite green shirt and experience some early St. Patrick’s Day festivities in Troy. Leprecon is a city-wide pub crawl that will include bagpipers, glass etchings, and many pints of Guinness to drink at various stops. There is a $10 registration fee, and funds raised will benefit the Boys and Girls Club of the Capital Area.
Head to Spare Time in Clifton Park this Sunday and go bowling for a good cause! This year’s Bowl for Kids’ Sake fundraiser will feature three bowling sessions, and for $25 per person, attendees will get two hours of bowling plus shoes, pizza, drink, and a t-shirt. There is a minimum of four people per team.

Join Impressions of Saratoga in downtown Saratoga Springs at their 5th Annual Dog Pawty on Saturday from 11:00am-4:00pm. This free event will offer treats for humans and dogs, fun games and activities, and a dog brew sampling (non-alcoholic beer for dogs!).
Bring the kids to the Clifton Park-Halfmoon Library on Saturday for a whimsical adaption of Pinocchio presented by Opera Saratoga. Admission is free, and the performance will be the perfect introduction to opera for children.
