If you’re a fan of delicious macaroni and cheese, then you should check out the 10th Annual Mac-n-Cheese Bowl at Siena College. This food festival is a fundraiser for the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York, and admission gets you a sample from all the different tasting stations.
This Saturday, Opera Saratoga will present a free public performance of Pinocchio for elementary school students and their families at Saratoga Arts Center. This adaption of the beloved tale will introduce kids to operatic music and classical singing as well as themes of self acceptance and telling the truth. The start time will be 11:00am.
Looking for more free and family-friendly fun in the local area? The Tang Teaching Museum at Skidmore College will be hosting Family Saturday: Beehive Buzz on Saturday afternoon at 2:00pm. After a discussion about the Like Sugar exhibit and Elevator Music 38: Bioni Samp – Digital Beehvive, visitors will have the chance to imagine and create their own beehives using construction paper, markers, and wiggly eyes.
