Celebrate Winter in Halfmoon
If you’re suffering from a case of the winter blues, then the Halfmoon Winter Carnival is for you! Bring the family to this winter celebration and enjoy music, food, and tons of fun from 2:00pm-5:00pm. All activities are free of charge.
Taste Delicious Chili & Soup
Attend the Saratoga Clay Arts Center’s 8th Annual Chili Bowl Fundraiser on Saturday from 11:00am-4:00pm. Purchase a handcrafted bowl at the event and fill it up with delicious chili. You may pre-purchase tickets and bowls online for a specific time slot.
On Saturday starting at 11:00am, local restaurants in Schenectady will open their doors and offer $1 soup samples during the annual Schenectady Soup Stroll. If you’d like to take the stroll, all you have to do is pick up a map from a participating restaurant and then check out all the locations that appeal to you. The soup stroll will conclude at 4:00pm.
The first ever SoupFest in Amsterdam is taking place this Saturday from 12:00pm-6:00pm. Take a trip and visit participating bars and restaurants for delicious soup samples. Each 3oz soup sample will cost $1, and once you’re done, you can vote for your favorite soup. The winner will receive a trophy for the best soup in the city.
Lace Up Your Bowling Shoes
Go bowling for a good cause at Saratoga Strike Zone! The Strike Out MIOP event on Sunday will benefit the Ryan Wersten MIOP Foundation, and the $25 admission cost includes two games, shoes, two slices of pizza, soda, and more.
