Ballston Spa Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting – Friday, December 7
There’s nothing like a holiday parade to get you feeling festive. This Friday, the Ballston Spa Business & Professional Association will present the annual Ballston Spa Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting beginning at 6:30pm. Watch as fire trucks, decorated floats, groups, kids, and more parade down the streets of Ballston Spa to Wiswall Park, where Santa will light the Christmas tree.
A Christmas Story at HMT – Friday, December 7 – Sunday, December 9
You may have seen A Christmas Story many times on TV, but have you ever watched a theatrical version of it? This weekend, Home Made Theater at The Spa Little Theater will present a delightful stage adaption of Jean Shepherd’s classic holiday film. Performances will take place on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, so get your tickets today!
18th Annual Santa’s Play Land Open House – Friday, December 7 & Saturday, December 8
This weekend, Quick Response Restoration in Round Lake will transform their property into a winter wonderland full of dazzling light displays, Santa and other holiday characters, refreshments, and more. Admission is free, so bring the whole family on Friday or Saturday and experience a little holiday season magic.
Breakfast With Santa and Mrs. Claus – Saturday, December 8
Santa Claus is coming to the Clifton Park area! On Saturday from 8:30am-11:30am, the Clifton Park Elks Lodge in Ballston Lake will host a festive Breakfast With Santa and Mrs. Claus. Parents and their children can enjoy a full breakfast, photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, a 50/50 raffle, and crafts and games.
Downtown Schenectady’s City Hall-iday – Saturday, December 8
Look forward to hands-on activities, holiday crafts, family photos with Santa Claus, and more at Downtown Schenectady’s annual City Hall-iday. Events will take place in and around Schenectady City HallĀ on Saturday from 12:00pm-4:00pm. Join them for free hay rides, a fantastic holiday bazaar offering unique gifts, and more merriment throughout the city.
