Fun With Winter Festivals
Saturday, January 27
Winter Fest returns to Grafton Lakes State Park with an amazing lineup of exhibitors, games, food, and fun. You’ll get to see live birds of prey from Ford’s Falconry Shop and reptiles from Uncharted Wild, along with a slew of seasonal fun: horse and carriage rides, a snow sculpture contest, a polar plunge (for pre-registered participants only), and much more.
Albany Wine About Winter Festival
Friday, January 26
Choose between a wine sampling ticket for $27 or a craft beer sampling ticket for $39 at the Wine About Winter Festival, happening at the Albany Capital Center. There will also be food, games, and music.
A New Ice Bar
Thursday, January 25 through Sunday, January 27
You can be among the first to check out the ice bar at The Adelphi Hotel! Get cozy in the cold weather with a cocktail or warm drink. Free admission.
Live Music Shows
Granger Smith at Upstate Concert Hall
Friday, January 26
You can catch country music singer Granger Smith at Upstate Concert Hall this Friday. Tickets are $25 in advance or $28 day of the show.
Saturday, January 27
Local country band Big Sky Country is performing at Vapor in Saratoga with no cover charge.
Hair of the Dog at The Parting Glass
Saturday, January 27
Area rock group Hair of the Dog is performing at The Parting Glass with a $13 cover charge.
A Used Book Sale

If this weather has you wanting to curl up with a good book you can stock up on your supply this weekend at the Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library. Get paperbacks for $0.50, hard covers for $1, and check out other great deals.
Food for a Cause
Saturday, January 27
The St. Edward’s Knights of Columbus is hosting a spaghetti fundraiser dinner which will be held in the newly renovated St. Edward’s Church right in Clifton Park. The cost is $7 for adults and $5 for kids ages 3 to 16. The meal will include generous helpings of spaghetti with meatballs, bread, salad, soft drinks, and a dessert. Takeaway meals will also be available.
