Troy Chowderfest is back for its 11th year. Purchase $1 chowder tickets, sample area chowders, then vote on your favorite. There will also be family-friendly activities, live music and entertainment, and more fun.

Come out to see original work by local clay artists at the Fall Clay Arts Fair at the Saratoga Clay Arts Center in Schuylerville. There will also be food and entertainment.

Lakeside Farms Cider Mill in Ballston Lake is hosting a Beer Fest with 25 attending local breweries and three food vendors. Tickets are $52, with proceeds going towards the Friends of Clifton Park Open Space.

The Clifton Parks Elks Lodge in Ballston Lake is hosting their annual Elktoberfest with beer, wine, spirits, coffee, food, games, and prizes all benefiting the Cerebral Palsy Association of New York State. For food, a German menu will be available with bratwurst, schnitzel, and more.

See hundreds of cars and trucks on display for “The Way We Were” Car Show in Ballston Spa. Front Street will be blocked off from Milton Avenue past the Old Iron Springs. You can also enjoy food, vendors and a Kids Zone.

Falling Leaves 5K & Kids Fun Run

The 11th annual Falling Leaves 5K & Kids Run in Ballston Spa is happening on Saturday. Registration is still available at $25 in advance or $30 the day of the race; the Kids Fun Run is free.
Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure

The popular annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure is taking place in Albany to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer. All proceeds from the event will go towards breast cancer in some way, with 75% staying in the local community with breast cancer screenings, treatment, and education, and the remaining 25% benefiting the Susan G. Komen Grants Program. You can still register for the race!

Shenendehowa Colorgaurd Shoes with Heart Campaign

Do you have gently worn used or new shoes you’re ready to part with? The Shen Colorguard is hosting a donation for shoes that will be used to support micro-enterprise vendors (small businesses in developing nations). Shoes can be dropped off at the varsity football game happening this weekend, or the one next weekend.
