1. Travelogue: Watching the World Go By
Friday, April 1
Dave Koschnick of Junkyard Watchdog Arts will present a travelogue of his recent road trip to Alaska at Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library on Friday morning. He traveled 11,709.7 miles in 61 days!
2. Clucks and Pucks Wingfest for LLS
Saturday, April 2
This event brings together the best of three worlds: wings, craft beer, and hockey! Taste and judge chicken wings from more than 20 Capital Region restaurants, sip on craft beer from several local breweries, and enjoy the Albany Devils’ game against the Springfield Falcons.
3. ValleyCats National Anthem Tryouts
Saturday, April 2
For the sixth year, the Tri-City ValleyCats will host National Anthem tryouts! Singers are welcome to audition this Saturday at Crossgates Mall either individually or as a group, but must perform acapella or with a musical instrument that doesn’t require power.
4. Behemoth Short Film Festival
Saturday, April 2
The Behemoth Short Film Festival, being held this Saturday at Saratoga Arts Center, showcases the very best in underground cinema from filmmakers across the country! Two showings will be held, one at 6pm and the other at 8:30pm.
5. Gardening 101 in Changing Times with Sue Beebe
Sunday, April 3
Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library continues the celebration of The Martian with a gardening update. Sue Beebe from the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Saratoga County will help participants relax and enjoy the fruits of their labor with a discussion on proper gardening conditions and techniques!
