The Butterfly House – Schenectady
Great for children! Take your family to the Butterfly House for a truly magical experience. Walk through an enclosed room and discover hundreds of brilliantly colored butterflies. Be sure to dress in the layers, the butterfly room is much warmer than the museum itself!
Hands On Cooking Class – Latham
Parents and children will work together to create great recipes to use at home! Recipes include homemade pasta with tomato sauce, asian chicken and a vegetable bake.

Mini Horse Camp – Schuylerville
This camp is for the animal lovers. Learn how to care, groom and ride a horse during this three day experience.

Can’t get work off? Send the kids to an awesome camp for the day! The Children’s Museum of Science and Technology (CMOST) is running several camps throughout Spring Break.
Taste Bud Spring Break – Latham
This cooking class is geared for children from ages 5-8. They will learn how to create awesome recipes such as smiley face breakfast pizzas, mini quesadillas and a mango orange smoothie.
This hands-on science camp will have children experimenting as they learn about the scientific method. They will even get to make their own ice cream.
Junior Chef Spring Break – Latham
In true Top Chef fashion, older children (9 and up) will learn techniques necessary to create an impressive meal from a box of “mystery ingredients.” Recipes include stuffed chicken, spring vegetable risotto, and blueberry crisp.

Pirate Adventures – Albany
Ahoy, mateys! Learn how to talk like a pirate, explore the depths of the ocean and learn about buried treasure at this awesome camp.

Is there a better combination? This two hour long club encourages students to be creative and imaginative all while snacking on delicious pizza.
Pancakes & Pajamas – Colonie
I guess I spoke too soon… another great combo! Kids will learn how to make and serve great pancakes, all while wearing PJs. Sounds pretty awesome to me.
