With so many beautiful parks in our own backyard, it’s important to do our part in keeping them looking that way! The Town of Clifton Park needs volunteers to help on Clean-Up Day on April 18th.
Between the 18 miles of trails and 12 parks, there are more than enough opportunities for individuals to get involved with cleaning up Clifton Park.
Rally the troops! Bring your family, friends, co-workers, boy and girl scout troops or youth group. It’s an awesome opportunity to not only to do something good for your community, but to explore some of Clifton Park’s awesome green spaces, as well.
The parks and spaces that will be focused on are Garnsey Park, Veterans Memorial Park, Dwass Kill Nature Preserve, Mohawk Landing, North Woods Nature Preserve, Ushers Road State Forest, Vischer Ferry Nature and Historic Preserve. In addition, there will be several neighborhood trails and paths throughout town getting attention, too!
The Town will provide trash bags and will collect them at the end of the day.
Call the Town Hall at 518-371-6651 to reserve your space you would like to help clean up and to pick up your trash bags.
We hope to see you at Clean-Up Day on April 18!
