If the new-found warm weather has your kids counting down until summer vacation at Clifton Common, this will come as welcome news. The town board has approved a project to give the Clifton Common facilities a face-lift!
The basketball court, soccer field and baseball diamond will all be updated by summer 2013.
The town board has allocated nearly a quarter of a million dollars to resurface the basketball courts, add adjustable basketball hoops for younger players, and upgrade the sprinkler system at the soccer fields.
Clifton Park Baseball will also be revamping its own practice facilities, including upgrading four batting cages, adding two new ones and constructing a new indoor multi-season practice facility.
