Have you ever had your wine bottle autographed; or the wine, itself, poured for you by the winemaker himself? On Friday, April 26th from 4pm – 6pm, Bill Spence of Matua Valley Vineyards of New Zealand will be at Exit 9 Wine and Liquor Warehouse in Clifton Park NY to do just that!
Located at 9 Halfmoon Crossing Blvd in Halfmoon NY, the warehouse will host Bill Spence, one of the founders of the Matua Valley Vineyards – the first New Zealand winery to make sauvignon blanc beginning in 1974, and the wine for which they are now most famous for!
Brothers Ross and Bill Spence spent years developing their distinguished wines before establishing the Matua Valley winery in 1973. The first successful vintage was produced in Auckland, New Zealand in “the old Tin Shed,” and the winery won several awards for its innovative wines and famous New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. Today, they are a respected fine wine brand on the global scale!
So, come by Exit 9 Wine and Liquor Warehouse in Clifton Park NY on Friday, April 26th, and grab a bottle (or two) of New Zealand’s finest wine and have it autographed by a world famous winemaker!
