Join us for the 5th annual Walk Run For Kids hosted by the Upstate Foundation benefiting Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital. Registration is open for a 5K run on a USATF-certified course; 2-mile fitness walk; and Fun Run for kids. More than 12,000 visits are made annually by Binghamton and surrounding area families to Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital in Syracuse.

EVENT SPECS & DONATION PROCEEDS INFORMATION

On September 27, the Upstate Foundation is hosting our 5th annual Walk Run for Kids, a fundraiser to benefit local pediatric patients and their families cared for at Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital in Syracuse. The event, which will be held at Otsiningo Park in Binghamton, features a 5K run on a USATF-certified course, a 3.25K (2 Mile) fitness run/walk, a Fun Run for Kids and virtual and volunteer options.

During the last year, nearly 100 children have been diagnosed with cancer at Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital in Syracuse NY. Many of these kids and their families are from the Binghamton area. Proceeds from the Walk Run For Kids will be used for Pediatric Unmet Needs including gas and grocery gift cards, parking, comfort items, Child Life Programs and Pediatric Critical Care Transport Team equipment updates. We also purchase books for local pediatric patients in addition to assisting with car, mortgage, utility payments and other necessary expenses to help ease their financial burdens.
