The bare stage can be a where that is as much a character as the actors. Doing great where work requires practice: but what, exactly, should you practice? Bring all of your senses and your willingness to both work and have fun.
Notes about this class/series:
“I want to do the advanced stuff…” The basics ARE the advanced stuff. Our best advice is to take Fundamentals 1 and 2 more than once. For one thing, no two class sessions are the same, and for another, classes are as much about practice as they are instruction. Repeating 101, Fundamentals 1 or Fundamentals 2 offers you the chance to cover similar ground with different partners. You can apply what you’ve learned the first time around and do even more to build your improv strengths.
Prerequisite: Fundamentals 1 and 2 or equivalent with another theatre. Ask instructor if you aren’t sure: hey@mopco.org
