Confetti Stage presents James Goldman’s The Lion in Winter at the Albany Masonic Temple, 67 Corning Place in Albany. Set at Christmas 1183, this darkly comic drama follows King Henry II, Eleanor of Aquitaine, and their three sons as they scheme and battle over the royal succession. Audiences can enjoy a medieval-immersive experience with period music, costumes, and a festive preshow before each performance. Shows run February 27–28 and March 5–7 at 7:30 p.m. (preshow at 7 p.m.), and March 1 and 8 at 2 p.m. (preshow at 1:30 p.m.).
