About this event
TAB is open to teens in grades 9-12 who are interested in developing leadership skills and influencing their community. We meet once a month to discuss ideas for new programs, changes to the Teen Room, and book recommendations. Your voice matters, and we want to hear your suggestions! Join TAB to have fun, meet new people, and boost your college and job applications. Earn community service hours by attending our monthly meetings - your help is valuable! New members are always welcome! Register online and get involved!
What to Expect
Teen participants will meet in a group setting to discuss teen services programs, displays, and ideas with Teen Librarian AnnaRae.
Attendance is taken at the start of each meeting.
Minimal cell phone use is permitted.
Meeting minutes will be emailed to participants within one week following the meeting.
Sensory Information
Noise levels during the meeting may range from moderate to high.
Bright overhead lights.
Loud sounds may occur from the use of a gavel.
Supports
Participants are welcome to take breaks or step out of the room as needed.
