Sensory Play

About this event

Circulate between sensory stations including sensory bins, play dough, kinetic sand, and LEGOs in a room with sensory lighting and soft music. Please register online.

What to Expect

• Play with our sensory bins and toys in a small group setting
• Playing together, playing by yourself, and parallel play are all okay
• Dim overhead lighting and a galaxy light projecting on the ceiling 
• Soft music 
• Move between different stations at your own pace. Visit all or some stations.
• Stations include sensory bins with colored rice and pasta, bins with plastic pieces, play dough, kinetic sand, LEGOS, and other toys. 

Sensory Information 

• Smells from the play dough will be noticeable. The rice and pasta sensory bins have a slight vinegar smell
• Some stations will be on the floor or at tables 

Supports 

• Noise cancelling headphones and fidgets are welcome. A limited number are available to use during the program, or bring your own.
• Feel free to come in late or leave whenever you are ready.
