About this event

Please note that this program is designed for experience crocheters. Crochet hooks and yarn will be provided for in-class use. Written instructions will be distributed, and participants can take instructions home. This program is inspired by the SaratogaReads! 2026 selection, The Soul of an Octopus by Sy Montgomery.

  • The librarian will demonstrate each step to the group, offering hands-on help as the class moves through each step together
