About this event
Liz Kleinrock is a Korean-American, queer, Jewish, antibias and antiracist author, educator of both children and adults, and creator of K-12 curriculum. She received the Teaching Tolerance Award for Excellence in Teaching, and delivered her TED Talk, “How to Teach Kids to Talk about Taboo Topics." She will focus on how educators can intentionally build classroom cultures that center antiracist pedagogy while navigating current sociopolitical realities.
This event is sponsored by the Education Studies Department and is funded by a generous Skidmore College alum. Bolton Hall is an accessible building. All are welcome!
