Kindness Jars
Kids in grades K-6, join us to make kindness jars! Decorate a mason jar using decoupage techniques. Then, take your jar home and place a button or marble in your jar any time you do something kind.

About this event
Please register online.
What to Expect
- The librarian will read a book about Martin Luther King Jr. and a book about Kindness Jars.
- Each participant will learn about the art technique of decoupage, and decorate their own jar using tissue paper and mod podge.
- Hands-on visual instruction will be provided.
- Participants can also use stick on gems, stickers, and ribbons to decorate their jar.

- Room may be moderately busy.
- Bright overhead lights.
- Some smells from glue may be noticeable.
Supports
- Noise cancelling headphones and fidgets are available.
- Participants are welcome to take breaks or move around the room.
