About this event

This July 4th, we’re raising a glass to freedom—specifically, freedom from British beer taxes, stale ingredients, and powdered wigs.

Join 🇺🇸 for our first-ever Cask Ale Celebration, featuring three naturally carbonated, gravity-poured ales brewed the way early Americans did it: with local grain, no shortcuts, and a rebellious spirit. Before lagers were chilled and IPAs were canned, beer was grown locally, fermented wild, and poured at cellar temp straight from the cask. This Independence Day, we honor that tradition with Founding Fermentations—a cask ale celebration featuring:

Sweet Bee Honey Rye IPA

Tractor Time American Craft Lager

Farmer’s Daughter Farmhouse IPA

Each one will be served the way our Founders drank it—naturally carbonated, unfiltered, gravity poured, and full of character. Pours start at 12 PM and last until they’re gone. Flights available in advance via our website. For grub this week, we're hosting 80K Upstate Street Plates from Friday through Sunday slinging their all-American favorites (menu below). Enjoy live music by The Bluebillies kicking off at 5 PM on Friday.

In 1776, taverns were the heart of revolution—and beer was brewed with what the land provided. We're not saying this cask ale event is revolutionary... but it might just spark one. For the land. For the spirit. For independence in every sip.
