For the past 10 years, Comfort Food Community (CFC) has been dedicated to serving rural communities in Washington, Warren, and Saratoga Counties, ensuring that nutritious food reaches those who need it most. Through our pantries, Farm 2 Library, Farm 2 Pantry, and Community Health programs, we distributed over 1 million pounds of food in 2024 alone—a milestone made possible by the strength of our community and like-minded partners.
As we enter our next decade of service, we want to celebrate our past accomplishments—including honoring the visionaries who founded CFC to fill the gap in food access for rural communities. Their commitment to recovering excess food from farmers and producers and redistributing it to those in need has shaped our mission and continues to drive our impact today.
This celebration of the organization's decade of service includes a raffle, a silent auction, a cash bar, opportunities to connect with community members, and the chance to hear firsthand stories of CFC's impact in the area.
The event takes place at Prime, Saratoga National, 458 Union Ave, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866. An individual ticket costs a $75 sponsorship and includes food costs throughout the evening.
Event Itinerary:
- 5:30 pm: Doors Open
- 5:30 - 6:15 pm: Check-in and mingling
- 6:15 pm: Welcome Remarks
- 6:15 - 6:55 pm: Celebration of impact through various presentations and stories
- 6:55 - 7:30 pm: Final thank you and wrap-up mingling
