You can see the popular rock and soul duo Sirsy for free as part of the Performing Arts series at Clifton Common. They’re a “little band with big sound” – if you didn’t see it with your own eyes you’d swear there had to be more than two of them making that powerful music!
New Kids on the Block at the Times Union Center

ParkFest 2017 & Custom & Classic Car Show
Saturday, July 8
ParkFest at Gavin Park in Wilton is going to be huge! Check out the lineup of events with a magic show, comedy, juggling, caricatures, a petting zoo, cookie decorating, and so much more! Kids and adults will have a blast at this event.
The Custom & Classic Car Show is happening as part of ParkFest and you can enter your car for just $10 (spectators are free). First, second, and third place trophies along with prize money totaling more than $500 will be given out.

It’s summer – tis the time for hiking, biking, and walks in parks! A guided Stewardship Hike is happening at Kinns Road Park right in Clifton Park to check out the trails and trees. The group will also be investigating fish in a tributary of Dwaas adjacent to the park.

You can see a free showing of the animated musical Sing at Wiswall Park in Ballston Spa. This well-loved movie just came out last year and depicts an epic singing competition between a mouse, an elephant, a pig, a gorilla, and a porcupine. The music in this film includes everything from popular pop music to more old school tunes.

Have you ever seen the ballet? Now is your chance! The New York City Ballet will be at SPAC this weekend performing a trio of works by Martins, Peck, and Balanchine. The New York City Ballet is considered to be one of the foremost dance companies in the world with unparalleled performances. You can catch the ballet on Friday or Saturday. Ticket prices vary.
The New York City Ballet’s 2017 residence will begin on July 5th and continue through the 15th.
