Easter may be next week, but egg hunts and more Easter fun is currently happening throughout the Capital Region! Find out what Easter events are going on this weekend, along with a guitar show and live music. There are also a few nature-themed events to check out as we ease into some warmer weather!

Dave & Buster’s Breakfast with the Easter Bunny
Saturday, April 8
Have breakfast with the Easter Bunny at Dave & Buster’s in Albany! The first package costs $9.99 and includes a breakfast buffet, a $10 Power Card, activities, and a picture of the bunny. The second package costs $24.99 and includes the aforementioned items and activities as well as unlimited video game play.

Come to Congress Park in Saratoga for the annual Egg-Stravaganza. This is a super fun event with an Easter egg hunt, games, a silent auction, and more. Kids ages five and under get their own Easter egg hunt. Proceeds are benefiting Taylor’s Heroes, a nonprofit that offers free fitness and nutrition programs for children. Tickets are $10 for kids 2 to 12.
Il Faro’s Annual Egg Decorating Eggstravaganza

The Egg Decorating Eggstravaganza at Il Faro Restaurant in Albany is benefiting the Capital District Child Care Council’s Sprout Scouts Farm to Preschool program. For just $10 the eggs, dye, decorations, and baskets are supplied for you.

For the dog lovers out there, Sloppy Kisses in Saratoga is hosting their 11th annual Doggie Easter Egg Hunt. Easter eggs will be hidden throughout the store filled with treats and money-saving coupons.

The Capital Region Guitar Show
Friday, April 7 and Saturday, April 8
Guitar dealers will be on hand to buy, sell, trade, or appraise your musical equipment at the Capital Region Guitar Show, happening at the Saratoga Springs City Center. Bring your guitar or amplifier and receive a discount of $2 off the $7 entry fee; you can also bring at least two cans of food for a local food bank to receive the same discount. Kids 10 and under are free.

If you’re in the Albany area on Friday afternoon consider stopping by the Albany Pine Bush Preserve for a 1.2-mile hike. This hike is for adults only.
Sunday, April 9
Pot up a beautiful Easter plant – hyacinths, tulips, or daffodils – at the Brookside Nursery in Ballston Spa this weekend. The cost is $10 per planting, and kids are welcome to participate and plant a flower.
Friday, April 7
The Wilton Wildlife Preserve & Park in Gansevoort, about half an hour away from Clifton Park, is collecting data on frogs to include in the FrogWatch USA database. Learn about the many frogs of the Saratoga Sandplains and then head to a wetland to listen for frog calls.
