Friday is St. Patrick’s Day, and there are plenty of activities happening in the region. Right in Clifton Park you can attend the 8th Annual Celtic Music Jam, head to the St. Patrick’s Day Blowout at Trick Shot, or stop in to the Rusty Nail for live music and corned beef and cabbage.
If you want to venture a little farther afield, many restaurants and bars in both Albany and Saratoga Springs are having St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, including The Parting Glass and Caffe Lena in Saratoga and the Albany St. Patrick’s Pub Crawl.

Explore the 34 acres of land for sale by the Shenendehowa School District with the Friends of Clifton Park Open Space. Two guided tours of the forested land will take place this month, one on March 19 and one on March 26. Head on over to the Saratoga Springs City Center for the Adirondack Sports & Fitness Summer Expo and get ready for spring and summer with information and supplies for activities like running, cycling, hiking, paddling, and more! In addition to vendors, there will be seminars, clinics, demos, prizes, and giveaways. Admission is $5 for adults and free for children under 18.

Proctors in Schenectady is hosting the 9th annual Capital Region Wine Festival, Romancing the Grape. The festival will feature a wide variety of red, white, and sparkling wines while enjoying restaurant samples, live entertainment, an auction, and more! Proceeds will benefit 440 State Street Inc.
